Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Shannon Sanchez is originally from Upstate, New York. Her professional nursing education began in Syracuse, NY at Onondaga-Cortland-Madison College as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Since that time, she has logged nearly twelve years of experience in adult rehabilitation and post-acute patient care.

In addition to her clinical experience, Shannon also has an outstanding academic background that includes an Associates of Applied Science (RN) from San Antonio College, Texas, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) Program of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas in 2018.

Shannon has resided in San Antonio since 2008 with her husband and two wonderful children. She enjoys watching her children play soccer and baseball, reading, hiking, and volunteering for meals on wheels. She is blessed to have joined Dr. Marks and his team to provide excellent patient care in the practice of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.
